His listing title is slightly incorrect in that the lens he is selling is not a reflex (mirror) lens. He says it's the faster f8 lens, which it is, but it has a totally different construction to a reflex lens. It's a 1000mm prime lens.
Good find.

This is the third time this lens has been listed although he has dropped the opening price somewhat. Shame it doesn't come with it's original wooden tripod!

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

No mentioning of the state of the lenses, dust or any close pictures of the lens or bayonet. Mint condition can mean a lot of things. 5 Feedbacks and then such a high value item without returns. No pickup. Well unless it drops by at least half I stay clear of this (even I just droll to have one)
Kind regards

It's nice to be nice!
Pentax K-5 with D-GB4 Grip, to many lenses to mention by now (serious LBA by now), TC's, Lowepro Slingshot 300 AW, Manfrotto 028 & Redsnapper RS-283 with various Heads plus various Camera Clamps (I collect them). Looks like it's in good nick and at a good price if you needed this sort of thing. If I didn't just buy some long glass I might have considered this.

If it were the A*1200 I'd risk it at that price!
But with the limited feedback history & no images of the optics no thanks.
Besides my 1000-4000 scope is only two stops slower at the wide end, and only cost 1/10th as much

How's the iq on that bad boy, and what are the specs / make?

It's an older Tasco 'World Class' Spotting scope 60mm objective 15x-60x zoom, & came with the fitting for a T2 mount. How's the iq on that bad boy, and what are the specs / make?
Apparently it's f16 at 1000mm (x15) & f64 at 4000 (60x). Of course there's no adjustable aperture.
IQ isn't brilliant, but that may be partially poor focusing. (It looks much brighter/sharper without the camera mounted.) I rarely use it zoomed beyond about 1500mm as the image is too dark to focus.
A couple of shots in my portfolio where made using it see:
