Not so tough, but I got a nintendo DSi screen protector, and it's a near perfect fit (just had to trim 1mm off the width), pretty tough too as it's made to withstand heavy stylus use...
You even have the 2nd screen protector if you want to cut it down for the top LCD...
And this for about 2€...

Sounds like buyer beware?
How did it crack, impact after fitting?
What caused the scratch on the top panel?
Regards

Sorry to here that. Anyway, you have found a better solution.
It has to raise the question of "why don't Pentax make a decent screen protector"?
I use two other different brands of DSLR and they both have screen protectors. It's not rocket science.
Maybe I should have put that comment on the Pentax wish list, or has some one already mentioned it?
Regards

I have a screen protector for my K7 -It is made of glass and is the same make as those on my K10 and K20. However, there was nothing listed for the K7 so I had to buy one intended for "Another" make of camera with the same screen size. I bought them all from Japan via ebay and they do a great job, and they are easier to clean than the original!
Just make sure that the original screen is cleaned well before fitting!
PS - At work and ebay etc is blocked so unable to get the make...

Why do you feel the need for a screen protector in the first place?
A serious question.

... cos your camera is dangling from your neck and there's a zip and it's "kkkkkrch!" time.
I have one, it is mildly scratched - fine by me. I look after my kit, but sometimes things do go wrong.

On Saturday I bought a screen protector from the local shop photgraphic in Harrogate. It clearly stated 3" on the label . Inov8 was the make of product. However, on opening the contents and trying out the product it clearly doesn't come any where near covering the screen..not even the display area never mind the whole glass screen .Measures 2.7" diagonal .
Which product does anyone else use and can recommend.
