K 7 sceen protector.

I've just bought a K200D and want to protect the rear screen (my K100D Super has lots of minor scratches from being carried loose in my haversack).


Do I need to spend money on a protector or could I simply apply the self-adhesive film (think Fablon) that you can buy for 'binding' books? It is clear so shouldn't affect the view . . .
Maybe it wouldn't be so durable, but significantly cheaper so could be renewed when necessary.

Can the minor scratches on the K100 screen be polished-out using something like Duraglit wadding?

Are there more substantial protectors that are designed to be removed before viewing the screen as I rarely look at what I have taken until I get it downloaded onto my computer?

I bought one of these. It cost about £ 13 and consists of two pieces of glass to cover top and back screens. Easy to fit and good so far.

Just had one come for my K10D though and the back screen protector is too small.

Is the K-7 screen the same size as the K200D?

no but you can get them for a k200d.
