Here in Sweden it will be sold for about £960
Still can't afford it right now though, but will probably buy it before the year has come to and end.

But whay are the prices for that grip so silly high?
(Havn't seen any prices of that in Sweden...)

is that £960 including 25% Swedish VAT?

If you're VAT registered it might be worth buying it from there

Sweden is in the EU and you can't recover VAT charged by other EU countries. What you can do is order it under a UK company's name, supply that company's VAT number and you don't pay VAT at all.

Hmm!

Pentaxuser P.L.C anyone?

Register for VAT, order from Sweden....

Or just wait until the rush is over and the price drops and the K8(?) is announced....
Cheers, HG

Yes, but where are they getting it from if they can offer a Buy it Now price of £990 (inc VAT) and SRS can't even sell it cheaper and only got their stock today. Seems very odd to me

Having been stung with the great sticky label scam I'll leave that one well alone!

WOW! - Where was that!!! : and who with? Outback Air or Boomerang Airlines?

I will buy a couple of tickets and go and visit with my mate Lance for a few weeks!

Still won't buy a K-7 yet, even at Aussie pricing, as the total outlay for my K20D, DA*60-250 and DA 17-70 was under £1500!

Looks like I'll be stuck in a rut with that lot for a long time as I'm too much of a fringe photographer (mean b@st@rd!) to be an early adopter!
