My K-5 has just come back from Johnsons as the shutter button assembly has been replaced and the firmware has been updated to 1.11 but as I have no plans to purchase a GPS unit in the near future that will do for me

My K-5 is taking 2 shots more often than not even though it is set to single shot in drive mode and I have just contacted Johnsons about the problem.

Hi Mike, well each time I depressed the shutter button it appeared to "stick". It was repaired very quickly though, about a week or so.

Same here- it'd be interesting to hear what Johnsons have to say about this quirk

I've just had a look at paperwork that was sent with it and it simply states "Repaired Shutter Button". I first noticed it last July but had been getting worse since then.

It`s much faster on the focus in poorer light. If only the same could be done with the K20.

Can't find the reference here. Perhaps it was at another forum but using bounce flash appears to correctly expose now that I have upgraded to latest firmware. (K5 and Sigma EF 530DG super).
