K 5

What are peoples thoughts on the K 5 as I have a K 7, that is a problem.
Am onto my third K 7 as my second K 7 has trouble with the second sensor that has been installed.My camera store has offered to swap it for a new K 7 that they have in stock at no charge.
What are Pentax K 5 users views on paying the difference and going to a K 5.

If the price is right for you I'd go for the K-5, with its improved low light capability and slightly higher resolution.

I suspect that OIGS is really asking if the the K5 is likely to prove more reliable than his K7s have.
The answer to that has to be - not necessarily.

The K-7 had a lot less problems than the K-5 which (apart from the sensor) is quite strange considering they share the same body.

Would I go back to a K-7 .. absolutely

Would I sell my K-5 to go back to a K-7 ... no chance.
