The lighting obviously is beyond your control, but you've managed quite a good professional looking set under the conditions. It's nice to see a bit of motion in some of the shots.
The first two are really too dark for me. It's a pity there wasn't a backlight on the first one.
The fourth one shows how poor the lighting was. It's actually burning out the guitar players hand making it too noticeable.
The only other shot I don't care for is the 9th again the flat lighting is the problem.
The rest of the shots IMHO are 1st Class and I'm sure that the band could make good use of them.
I'm having problems focusing my K-5 as well some lenses need beyond -10 and visual focus seems very hit and miss.

Thanks for your comments Algi, appreciated. The first 2 for sure are dark and i'm begining to wonder if my monitor at home is too bright as they look really good when viewed on that and also strangely enough on a work colleagues iPad.
I must brush up on my P&P skills as these are straight from the camera, into Lightroom, B&W converted where I thought it worked better and exported as jpegs. So No 4 will gain from some work in that regard.
Your opinion on no 9 is spot on, it should not have made the cut.
The bands where very energetic and I would have been remiss not to capture some of that movement / energy I think, it is part of the story of the night

I like them all but REALLY (REALLY) like number 1 - if I were you I would have that as a canvas print on my wall.
Love it.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog!

ISOs were from 3200-12800, I started off with the K50 f/1.2 for the first band, went to the FA43 on the second band and finished up with the FA77. Aperture was between f/2.0 and f/4.0 on all shots (down to my distrust of the K-5s AF and because I could not make out the focus indicators on the Katzeye, it was pretty dark)
First 2 up are my favourite of the night, they are dark, moody and yet give a feeling of how the night felt:
First Band:
Second Band:
C&C welcome.
