From Pentax, there are the nice announcements we have heard about (K-5II, K-5IIs, Q10, 560/5.6 etc. They confined to me:
- no K-3 (at Photokina)
- no Full frame on the roadmap as far as Germany is aware of
- no 645D-II (at Photokina)
The K-5II will ship in time for the Xmas season.

IMO only coming out with a new model ( K5II) that merely fixes the deficiencies ( AF) with the original model ( K5I) and not adding a flagship model ( FF or otherwise ) is not a progressive move.

To be honest Pentax can't win really. Canikon have come out with new FF cameras that would dominate the publicity machine at Photokina, so it would make sense for Canon and Nikon to get all the glory and Pentax can then come up on the inside lane with the killer blow...that's what I hope. have you noted the A99, very subdued announcement, and anonymous compared with 6D and D600 launches....
Photokina isn't the only show in town......
And I'm happy that my K-5 hasn't been rendered irrelevant by a new camera....
