Gareth alerted us to that. He did start with a Kx and actually my favourite shot of his was taken with it. I'd be interested in seeing the article but I can't get it in France or in any suitable digital format.
Is it worth reading?

I thought it was a wee bit enthusiastic to be honest. I'd been asked for a couple of interviews a bit back but refused as I didn't think I had anything much to say. Tim Parkin, who does On Landscape and has some sort of association with Joe Cornish, had been after one for a bit and asked again. I agreed and he came up, stopped over and I took him for a wet wander up Deepdale and we did an interview. The next day I got the call from AP. I have four images shortlisted in the UK Landscape Photographer of the Year thing (but I'm not doing any other comps after this one and the Garden one). Local up market hotel chain is in negotiations with me to do some tours/workshops through the winter. I'm sort of retired now and I've been working all summer on the Ullswater Steamers (I think I've been there every day this year with one thing or another). Things are going not too bad to be honest - the magazine did get it wrong about the camera, I did tell the guy I started with a K-X.

The article says Mark's first DSLR was a K5, which I'm sure isn't correct. I saw many super images he took with a K-x.
Anyway, just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else is interested
