ist D metering mode

I just got my Pentax istD camera back from Pentax repair. When I turn the dial for different metering mode, spot, multi etc. it works. But when I look at those pictures in Pentax Browswer ver 1.11 they all say multi meter.

They didn't do this before the repairs.
What's the problem?

Either the camera is incorrectly reporting the metering mode, or the switch is failing to change modes.

My guess is the latter. Either way, take it back to be sure.
