1 Read the manual, or:
2 Take the existing card with you to the shop, or:
3 If you've lost both, go to "links" on this site, and download the manual, but:
4 As I'm nice, here's the link: http://www.pentaxusa.com/docstore/index.cfm?show=6, however:
5 I think you'll find it's an SD card.

Just to confirm what George said, it takes SD memory cards. It is also compatable with Multimedia cards (MMC), but these tend to be more expensive and slower.
I have used cards up to 512MB without problems, but have seen concerns on other forums about 1GB card support (it seems to be pretty inconsistent).
