Yes, the Samsung DSLRs were the product of an unholy alliance between Pentax and Samsung. They take K-mount lenses and the Pentax kit is interchangeable.

The Samsung GX10 was basically a rebadged K10 and a GX20 a rebadged K20. There were subtle differences notably in the software; the menus and jpeg compression routines were not the same.
This tie up also extended to lenses and flashguns where the same items were sold under both badges.

Probably, and in this case I'd report the transgression to the EXIF sphincter police.

Ajay

There is another C.... photo there too - taken by a young member for a specific purpose -- but we do not worry about these .

From time to time strict rules are broken and normally that's for a very good reason .

Please don't worry about the occasional breach of rules and regulations - I'm sure the Mods know about them - they are human and have been known to turn a blind eye from time to time.

T&Cs do state clearly that discussions and images should be Pentax related. If there's a Canon image somewhere, then it's been overlooked, otherwise it would have been removed.

I uploaded a Canon photo on here a couple of years ago - and made it quite clear why at the time.
The reason: it was taken by a member of Durham Photographic Society of a group of Pentax Users at the Whitby Goths Festival and it was a good group shot of people such as Fat Spider (Alan Chapman), Barrie Forbes, Graham Kirkby, Gareth Reynolds and me among others.
It was there for a genuine Pentax reason and no one complained.

Which is why sometimes exceptions are made, but as a rule it's Pentax only.
Best regards, John
