Were you down there 4 weeks ago when 5 fire engines, 2 ambulances, 1 incident control centre 4 police cars and the costguard all crammed down the high street to get a couple of girls who were stuck in the mud...talk about economical use of rsources..........

Yep. Our emergency services are certainly on the ball. At the end of my road, is a sheltered housing complex. Whenever one of the old biddies locks herself in the loo, or sets the alarm off by burning the toast, three fire engines and an ambulance come screaming up the road!
