A few I.C.M. (intentional camera movement)... I've been having a little practise in my garden after being inspired by Bill's (thingsthatihaveseen) beautiful images the trees are a small Cedar and a Sycamore, No3 was taken as the last of the sun shone on the Stipa Gigantea grass, the last one being some flowers. You seem to have nailed that one Maria.
I've read what the others like but I still go back to the first one. It's like pastel crayons.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

I don't think you made a hash of the uploading, the way they seem to morph one into the next is very appealing. I like them all too but #2 is my fave.

Thanks folks, i had some interesting results and will be experimenting more, it's pretty exciting when you upload to the computer and hopefully have a few that appeal, not much editing to do either 😊

I think the last two have promise. I really don't like the first two - those highlights and associated awkward vertical movements do my head in - it looks like how I clumsily use a clone stamp. I hope this doesn't interfere with your customary and unique images. Sorry, can't please all etc, However, it will lead somewhere good no doubt.

Was rather hoping you'd post these, after you mentioned them the other day... Great stuff... I know what you mean re the excitement when you upload them to the computer... What intrigues me is that often ones that I thought were really interesting on the back of a camera can be slightly less so on a full size screen (where you can see more of the blemishes/lines etc)... And ones that didn't necessarily look that promising can polish up nicely once I've pulled up exposure etc (I underexpose loads of mine, usually by accident)...

Anyway, I like the feel of all of these, but particularly 2 and 3... Especially like the abstract feel to 3, and the gorgeous light vs textures you've caught...

Very best of luck with the experimenting, and keep 'em coming...

Best

No worries Adrian, we all have our own likes and dislikes, i just love experimenting and quite happy doing anything photography related, life is short and why not just throw caution to the wind sometimes even if the resulting outcome isn't that well received... i'm off to do some flower shots

Thank you Bill, 2 and 3 are my favourites, i know what you mean about viewing on camera, the one's i liked were pretty disappointing on my monitor! i will certainly be trying it out more, this was a second attempt and were all single exposure except for no. 3 which was a double.
