Please accept my sincere apologies for making such a mess of AmandaW's topic Lens or new camera advice appreciated.. earlier this week. In retrospect I realise that my comments were way out of line.
AmandaW, sorry to contribute to sidetrack your request for advice. Hope to see you around again soon.
Martin, it's your privilege to express yourself as you wish without me nagging about style, etc.
John, I feel my comments were partly why you found it opportune to lock the post, for which I'm sorry, firstly on Amanda's behalf.
My "problem" is that I am easily carried away, especially in themes that engage. However, I realise that this is not a forum to discuss the English language, but to share the joys of photography.
