A WWII Bathurst Class corvette built in Australia, she is now a museum ship moored permanently at Williamstown.

Nice shot, I will probably vote No 1 as well, with No 3 (very) close second - I wonder how the third one might look with a slight colour tone, maybe an inky deep blue...:. I might be inclined to crop out a sliver from the left edge as there is an orange bollard/buoy there which catches my eye, but otherwise good stuff!

Thanks for those comments.

Mat - I've done versions in sepia and a split toned blue since, as follows:

Happy to get views from the forum on these also.

Interesting set of images. I think I'll go with the herd and prefer No 1 although I do like the sepia too. Do clone/crop out the bright orange buoy though.

Lovely shot, BTW, beautifully crisp and clean and a lovely composition.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I prefer the second version and the warmth of the light, though I would have cropped out that red on the middle left.

Its a wonderful image whichever way you present it - but I must vote for No. 2, the full fat colour version. Until Womble mentioned it I hadn't noticed the orange bouy right on the edge of the frame. But he's right, torpedo it.

Nice I-berg yes the very first one - beautiful. But the sepia is probably more WW2

I rather like the toned versions as well! - I think probably the sepia works best to my mind - probably because it has that 'retro' look, but it's hard to tell with both versions there as I keep flcking between them and thinking each one I am looking at is the best Either way it's a great shot.
