Help with Lightroom 3

Hi all.
I have recently acquired Lightroom 3 and has suddenly realised that post processing can be so much streamlined and easier than using PSE9. I do require some help however for a problem that has cropped up today. I was processing some shots and noticed that all the RAW photos were showing up with adjustments that I had made to another photo yesterday. I don't know if I have explained it OK or not but basically any new shot that I open in LR has sharpening, exposure and lens correction adjustments already applied. I then have to undo these changes.
I would appreciate some advice please.
Thanks.

Sounds as if some sort of batch processing is taking place.

Have no idea if it will work but have you tried "remove history" and "set default settings in the develop drop down menu and in the settings menu - "reset all settings"?

Thanks Carl.
I have reset all the settings so let's see if new imports will have a similar problem or not.

This will happen if you do the following:

a: Apply a preset when importing images to the catalog.
b: Have folder "Synchronise" switched on?
c: Multiple photos selected in the "Library" window and execute a copy/paste command from the "Photo" pull down menu.

There are some other scenario's but I don't have LR3 in front of me at the moment so hopefully I've remembered the correct terminology.

To reset images, select the images you want to reset in the library window and hit the reset button (bottom right next to the sync button IRC)
