Hi all,

I've had a bit of an accident with my AF360FGZ which has ripped the hotshoe connector from the main body of the flash. The flash still works in wireless mode, but I'd like to be able connect it to the camera for high-speed sync and general convenience. There are five coloured wires (brown red orange green yellow) coming out of the flash body and five solder connections on the hotshoe bit (see picture below) so it shouldn't be too hard to fix. I was just hoping someone might be able to tell me which colour wire goes to which pin?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

Gudday Steve,

1. Brown
2. Green
3. Red
4. Orange
5. Yellow

Rather than trying to fix the base (with glue etc.) you would be better off ordering a new 'Shoe Case 65863-Y301', only $5-6 Australian from Pentax (in Oz it's CR Kennedy 03 9823 1555 and ask for Rob Grunden in spare parts - very helpful).

Regards,

Dave.

Thanks Dave!

only just saw your post. I was going to araldite it back together, but if the spare part's that cheap it hardly seems worth it...
