Thanks again for all the welcomes. My dad is back home and managed to give me an inventory list and a picture. It looks like I am going to have some fun with this as it is an ME Super and the winder is for the MX. Plus, the lenses do look like some good all around lenses to play with and so I don't think I am going to need to invest in anything further at first other than film and batteries. Here is what is in the kit. Any comments/suggestions?

Although I can't tell exactly from the photo I don't think it's a typo - it looks like you really do have a 50/1.4 (attached to the ME Super on the right) and a 50/1.2 (attached to the MX on the left).(I get the feeling one of the 50mm is in fact a 35mm and he did a typo.)
Both cameras are excellent (the MX in particular is an all-time favourite of mine), the two 50mm's are sublime and the Vivitar Series 1 is well thought of. Not so sure about the 28mm or the tele converter. The 50/1.2 would easily set you back £200+ on eBay on its own.

Wow! I didn't know he had that kind of glass with them. He said that he was actually considering selling them soon and so it was good timing that I asked about them, and he said they are mine now to do with what I like.
And ya, they are two 50mm, one for each body.

Unfortunately I am a Canon man when it comes to my DSLR. Looking at ebay there is a 50mm 1.2 with active bidding at £260 right now. Eesh!

I think he does actually. My dad keeps up on his tech toys and so I have a feeling he knows that he has some good kit. I think he would just prefer me using them then selling them off - and it is very likely that my mom is telling him they are taking up room and just sitting there and to get rid of them lol.
