Hello everyone,

Thought I'd better introduce myself. I'm Richard and I live in West Sussex, UK. I bought my first DSLR in April 2008 - a K200D. Since then I've bought some old lenses on ebay of which the M50/1.7 is my favourite - I couldn't believe the difference when I first looked at the photos from it! I got a DA50-200 for my birthday. Now I'm looking to get the DA35/2.8 macro but it's the most I will ever have spent on a lens so I have been hesitant - need to take advantage of the cashback offer so must decide quickly though. I like the macro capability and the fact it can act as a 'normal' lens as well. It seems to be liked by everyone who has it too.
Before my Pentax I used a Minolta X300 for 25 years.

Anyway, that's all for now.

Cheers,
Richard.

Welcome to the forum Richard.

I have heard the DA35 is a very good lens and wouldn't mind getting one myself but also want a 31mm ltd. Must decide

Hello Richard and welcome to the forum.

I have the same dilemma as Clarky dithering between the DA35 and FA31 Limiteds. Still, it's nice to have lenses to aspire to so I'm not complaining!

I bought the DA35 Macro for the missus for Christmas as she really enjoys her macro work. Wish I hadn't, want my own one now!

Go on hefty, complete your set of silver FA Ltds... After all, George L has one so it must be good

I have yet to get a Ltd. Thinking about getting the 43 first.

Cheers, Kris.
