Now there's no need for this sort of posting here! Well I went out to find a lot of tomatoes on my pants and thought I'd have a play with my camera at the same time...

Oranges (still green), lemons (Some ripe, some not), peaches have all gone though . Oh and a few Olives . . . not ripe yet either.
Sounds wonderful, most of those won't grow well in Yorkshire Tyr wrote:

Yes, but you'll probably hate me . . .Anyone else got something tasty growing?

We have: pumpkins, butter nut squashes, courgettes, leeks, onions, garlic and tomatoes (+various herbs).
I'd like some fruit trees, but they are harder to get.

I've got lots of weeds in my 'garden' and it's been paved!!
Tyr, some of the larger tomatoes seem... burnt out... in an orange sort of way. there seems to be a lack of graduation between the lighter shades of orange and darker shades.
Is it just me?

hard light....slight overexposure....
polarizer and a difussion screen would've given the image a different look.

Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

Thought about a makeshift defussion screen, I'll try that next time.hard light....slight overexposure....

The larger tomatoes really are that orange and there is hardly and graduation at all, even in that harsh light. Apart from the very bright spots being burned out it is what I could see.
I did take a second image with a higher shutter speed but it seemed to dark on screen and in the histogram.
Only 1 stop difference:

Thanks for the suggestions

I think the second pic is much better, more natural looking. (I'm getting the hang of this judging lark!)

What do they look like? I don't recognise the name. I have various items that came from something. Tumblers from Nutella is an other one.

K10D + SMC-A 28mm 1:2.8
The full image has such fine detail, I want more A primes! Sadly they are rare, unlike a set of K and M primes which can be found anywhere; 28mm, 50mm, 100mm and 135mm K/M lenses seem to be in every shop I go into!
Yes they are all ripe, Sungold are the larger ones, can't remember what variety the cherry tomatoes are. All really sweet and full of flavour.
Anyone else got something tasty growing?
EDIT: Corrected typo...
