There're quite a few people with that £40 or less Tamron which is reviewed to be soft at 300mkm, but that looks well worth £40 to me !
Sorry, a little drunk at present & included an unwanted K. I'd be impressed at a lens that wasn't soft at 300,000,000 kilometers !

Nice shot, I have seen some excellent pics on here taken with tamron lenses worth a look at me thinks
K5,Pentax DA*300mm,Pentax HD DA 560mm.
