No change fo Pro users, we already have unlimited storage. But there has been a price change. New users wantin a pro account its going to cost $49 now.

You can let it expire or switch to a free account and get a refund. 1TB is way more photos than I heve ever taken and way more than I would ever want to upload in a lifetime.
Adblocker will help with the ads so it looks a pretty good change to me.

It seems most flickr users disagree the changes are good! The new set up is a nightmare to use. No way to access the collections I've set up. The sets are presented in a rubbish way and it's changed from a simple easy to use site for sharing pictures to some mobile 'app' type mishmash. Having had a pro account since 2007 and with over 14,000 pictures on there [many from events which i need to share] I'm totally fed up!! Read what others are saying add your feedback here

Those that disagree are much more likely to comment. I'm sure there will be teething troubles and changes in response to feedback. The site was looking very dated.
I like it. One of the things that concerned me with a pro account was that if it expired the the content couldn't be accessed. So if something happened to the user then the content was at risk. Now it is archived for good, just need to get my flickrID engraved into my headstone.

Yeah, the new interface is great. I cannot access my photostream or see any of my pictures... wonderful.

No, that's for an ad free subscription. You can keep renewing your pro account at the old rates (or thereabouts I would imagine) as long as it was not a gift subscription and you set it last year or earlier.

Looks pretty good to me. I was never a big fan and hence never a big user, but it looks like they have sprinkled bits from Facebook and 500px to create a more enveloping (or entrapping ) space.

This is great! I can see all the older stuff that had become invisible, since flickr only allowed me to see the most recent 200 images.
I discovered yesterday that Photobucket has removed a large proportion of my storage (don't know why) and I'm not paying for more, so with this change, it might be that flickr is the way to go.
