A quick Pentax user Forum search will show the 24th March post. Excellent freebie. I have it installed in my plugins in Photoplus X8. I think Google have some instructional videos around too. Amateur Photographer used to be on the ball.

K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

I installed it last night. Works well with Elements 11. Very complicated but the mono-conversion part is excellent.

Give the 'pro contrast' filter a go (within the Colour Efex Pro segment). Very good for breathing life into dead images.

I'd never call your images dull - a bit rusty occasionally perhaps- but never lifeless !
Enjoy the Nik collection - there's a lot to wade through but I'm finding it fun.

I caught the original anouncement that it was free and watched some of the video's but thanks for highlighting it again. I've been playing with it for the past month but only use Viveza, I don't really see what Colour Efex can do beyond this aside from a few presets?

The collection has add-ins for Photoshop, Elements, Lightroom and Aperture – although not all add-ins work on all versions of these programmes.
The AP article gives a quick outline of each add-in.
NB: this may be a time-limited offer, but no cut-off date yet known.
