Glencoe

Took a day trip to Glencoe yesterday, leaving the house at 3am and getting back home at 8:30pm. Haven't really done any landscapes this year, since I was there at the beginning of the year in horizontal rain. So, out of my comfort zone.
All with the K-1. Using the 15-30, except for #s 3 & 4, where I used the 28-105, after swapping lenses for #3 due to excessive lens flare with its bulbous front element.

Beautiful, all of them and difficult to choose between them but I do like No 7 in particular.

That sounds like a real marathon, but a day you will always remember so well done. It looks extremely cold so how is it for driving up there in winter? Beautiful images, I especially like no. 2.

1 and 2 for me, although to be fair, that's a savage set, and they are all lovely.
I know what i like, If not always why.

A terrific set. The first is my favourite, but it is hard to choose between so many great shots.

Did you use a ND grad on any of these ?

Very nice shots Alan.

Particularly like the colour in No.4...real standout in the shots for me. Also really liked Nos 6 and 7...but they are all at least 'Good- V.Good'.

Cracking set again Alan.

Not much snow again this year!

Much appreciated folks. Really nice when people are picking different ones as favourites. It suggests some consistency.

Rob, the main road, the A82 is kept clear. Unfortunately I didn't get down the Glen Etive road. Looked a bit dodgy.
Peter, I think I used a grad on the first one and the last three.
Brian, there's more snow today.

Beautiful shots, specially number 2. Few shots for me are a little bit tight, I will give them more breath. Remember it's only amateur opinion. All the best.
