If the weather is better you can put it in the sun during the day, that would help so far as I know.
Lamps aren't that great since it's the UV light that kills them.
Most likely there are other ways as well.

Give it a few squirts with an anti-bacterial spray, like Dettox. Get it thorougly damp and rub it into the lining, then just let it dry.

I bought a cheap lens that I did not want, because it came with a case and a hood that I did.The lens has fungus inside.Do I need to throw the case away or can I treat it somehow.
