Another vote of thanks to Flan and Mike. Software downloaded and installed but not used yet. I've never stitched anything before but I've heard about stitched macro... Focus stacked and stitched, might be something to do in those long, dark, winter evenings .

I was going to title this "What not to Pano shoot?"
I took this with a 50mm SMC-A F2 at f8 on a tripod in Portrait postion, but obviously the two yachts were moving in between the shots, due to the tide. Closer in you can see the mast doubled' up and some blur.
Six shots, PP'd in RT and then Autopano Giga. After playing around with control points I eventually realised I'm probably wasting my time with this one! Doh,
The first shot shows the problem, then just before posting I tried a different way, let Autopano search the whole directory, as I did 2 lots of six shots from a slightly different position, 6 feet away. Rendered the pano and whey hey a great improvement. It said 26 images for some wierd reason - probably counting the tiff and jpg files??
There is however still some wierd masts sticking out of the sea - wierd, but should easily be removed in PP.
Anyway here are the shots, nice scenic one but defo not perfect in many ways;

the better one of 26 images it says for some wierd reason;

The strange thing Loadof is that I prefer the first one
Panorama software can also be used in a two shot sequence with the 50mm and should stitch perfectly without too much movement or wind etc, One will end up with a 6x7 look.
Try it

Super result Loadof, encompassing the grand scale , wait until you get used to it and one will instinctively know when to employ these techniques. I will have ago myself when time allows
One can also use this technique on closer foreground compositions as well. So plenty of uses
