The criteria is the best shot that you have taken during the qualifying period, which might be the only shot that you have taken.

In this situation, unless it is absolutely awful, in which case it would have been almost instantly deleted, it probably still merits being entered

Unfortunately, unless there is a last minute rush, there is also a very low entry in the Weekly Competition, depsite the very 'open' subject matter.

A few words........why worry so much? It's a friendly competition, and the worst that could happen, is that one gets some useful feedback/tips on how to improve. We are not competing for the Nobel Prize!!! So relax...relax...relax... post a picture. It doesn't need to be a masterpiece!! Martin is always(more or less)kind..........Tony.

Why didn't you say that earlier?

Only kidding. If it were for the Nobel prize we wouldn't worry so much.

Well it's not my competition, but i'm amazed at the fear/reluctance that seems to be expressed, when anything short of explicit instructions are supplied! So i say again ''really''don't worry, take a risk, present your ''worst''picture, sit back, see what the man has to say! ReeeeLaaaxxxxx!!

The competition is so easy !!!

It's the best image you have taken in the two week period, so if you only take one, then it's your best ever ???

I'm looking after my sister's 7 year old this week, last week was work, work, work, work, no time for pictures.

Managed to take the wee fellow to Glasgow Museum today, so got my 'best' picture.

I took the *istDS, after my friend Prieni spoke about using his *istD, and finding problems. Luckily the DS worked a treat, and it seems so small in comparison to the K10D + Grip, almost felt like a compact, must use it more.

Glad to hear that you had more luck in using the 'old' camera. If I should be able to revive the *istD I will do that now and then.
And yes, the *istD is tiny!
