Apologies, I am not completely happy with this attempt at an abstract but it does at least mean that I am back in these completions , even if for the moment I'm still house-bound.
Thanks to JaneM for lugging the tripod and lights about.
This is a four shot focus stack with each shot using:
Pentax K-5 with the Samsung equivalent of the DFA100 Macro.
0.8 sec, F16 & ISO 200
The focus stack was processed using CombineZP.
Cropped, converted to B&W plus a bit more tinkering in PSE10.

Haven't done a comp for ages, but seemed rude not too when I just happened to have this
A quick apology in advance as it's been a horrible week and I haven't been on here much at all. I've only just realised it ends today (and has just ended!) I will do my very best to get a result up tonight, but please bear with me if it's not until the morning.
Chris

That's the theme for this fortnight, then. "Two" or "2". Get your creative hats on and come up with some masterpieces that represent the number 2. It can be anything - the more imaginative the better. A few to start you might be a reflection, two identical objects, two similar objects, two completely dissimilar objects that complement each other, two lovers, two people, two animals, two photos merged together - macro, landscape, portrait - any type of photo with any lens.
As a relative novice with a DSLR I will try to score for technical ability, but will place lots of emphasis on the interpretation of the theme. Extra kudos if it makes me smile.
I will use a points system to work out scores, but won't publish them.
All entries to be taken between now and 18.00 BST Wed 23rd May with Pentax or Samsung equivalents. Please supply EXIF data for your image.
There will be regular reminders and it's open to all members so no excuse for not entering
