Fortnightly competition #30 - Curves

The topic is 'curves' how you interpret it is up to you but the main focus of the photograph must be a curve. Could be a road with a sweeping bend, the curve of seaside bay, the way the skin of a pepper works, the curve of a horse's fetlock (or whatever bit is curved) - up to you. But the most important feature of the photograph/composition must be a curve.

As I think you'll guess I'll be expecting good technical aspects to this, I like sharp but equally I know not all photographs have to be razor sharp. I like good colours but mono is good too with good tones as we have seen in the past. Good focus and exposure are a must IMO but break the rules if you want to!

In the spirit of recent discussions I will negotiate this if it's felt it's too restrictive but I doubt that's the case.

Good hunting!

Mike

PS I nrealy forgot the rules!

The usual fortnightly rules: one entry each, no changing once posted, picture(s) taken between now and the end of the competition 6pm UK time 9th December, Pentax equipment used, full shooting data given

I'll have a go. I was out looking for bricks for the weekly comp yesterday and I came upon this... 'hello...' I thought so here's my offering of a rather splendid bench in Richmond park:

Exif data:

Pentax K-7 with 16-50mm DA* lens
1/10th second
f13
focal length 16mm
Aperture priority
ISO 400
Date and time: 2009:11:28 14.14.56Z (although actually 13.14.56Z as I haven't changed my camera since the clocks changed...)

There's a lovely view all the way out to Windsor from this bench, so I was getting a few quizzical looks snapping the bench rather than the view
