Comments: Weekly competition #127 - History

This sounds like a wide open topic to me and right up my street as I have good old Kidderminster on my doorstep (sort of) with its ancient past, the scars of 60s developments as it has the third ugliest building in the country in it, and the ghosts of its industrial prime being recycled as discount stores.

Or I could I guess drift off into the Marches and visit Ludlow or Bridgenorth.

Interesting topic I'd say!

I like the perspective on your cup and ring rock. I must admit I tend to focus on the carving and not its environment in these situations.

Its strange to think that these were cut using deer antlers and stones and here we are with digital cameras.

Maybe the guys with antlers and stones were 'sharper'

Just back home after two days away. Where are all the entries? This isn't such a tricky subject is it?!

Just entered - had to go all the way to St. Malo to get the right shot

Just think of the expense - all for this competition
