Foam kits? CLA?

I'm so glad Interslice is still going strong.
I've used two complete kits from them - done 3 Spotmatics, a Chinon, a Yashica, two Nikons and a Yashica MatLM TLR. Their instructions are super clear and helpful, as is their correspondence.
The thing to remember is - confidence. You CAN do this. If you make a mistake in the door seals - well, you pulled the old gunk out didn't you? The new stuff comes out MUCH easier. I've only ever had to redo a little bit on the TLR.
And I'm a total klutz.

My MX needs doing due to mirror sticking and my bothers does aswell(after Dad was examining it his foam came of to!!!) but should I send it away as they both are missing bits of trim the battery covers and one is missing the motor wind cover! Am I right that trim is included in the the price of a full service from Asahi Photo and the like?

My LX had "the sticky mirror problem" only it turned out not to be the usual problem, but something electronic. Harrow fixed it for the same price as the standard service, and did it very quickly. That post was a month ago! Yes, he is indeed still in business and has just done a wonderful job servicing my ME-F and a lens. I shall be sending him my MX and one of the ME Supers when I get back from the US.

I have to admit I was a little surprised at the cost (greater than I thought) of having the MES or S1a looked over/cleaned and seals replaced from well known company. Both my cameras appear to function fine but thought that they would benefit from the overhaul. If things are working fine do you just tend to replace the seals yourself?
edit: I haven't had this done yet, like I say a little surprised so not sure.

It is not rocket science, I have done loads in my time, most is common sense, like dont let rubbish get into the camera do it very carefully and when it comes to the mirror bump stop be ultra careful.
