Flower

have no idea what it is but liked the colour, taken with FA50 on a Teleplus 2x 1:1 macro converter using CIF.

Thats a lovely flower, and a very nice composition and pleasing colour. Its not looking critically sharp I have to say ... would that be because of the 'converter' - (is that a glass filter type?) -I have been looking into this lately and some advice suggests that 'close-up filters' can degrade IQ and sharpness a bit. Forgive me and correct me if you're set-up here is not in fact a filter.

Nigel it is a 2x adjustable converter with a lens group that sits between lens and body, it gives from 1:1 subject magnification, at the closest point, to a standard 2x converter at the longest, all based on a 50mm lens. what it would be for other lenses i have no idea. this was hand held in a breeze. must say though on my monitor it looks acceptably sharp to me on the original, don,t know if resizing has had any affect
