Flight Of Fancy Pt2

Went out to photo some windsurfers this morning as we have gale force winds here in Spain atm but I think it was even too strong for them so had to make do with some seagulls
Not the nicest of birds but they look so menacing when in flight.
















And a Robin from a couple of days ago.

Lovely set Mike,
Just go's to show photographers can always find somthing to shoot at.

I like the 3rd one, its a good idea to resize images to 800 along the longest side for here

I especially like the last gull one, a more unusual viewpoint and quite threatening! All excellent, however.

I was hoping to take my Tamron 70-300mm out today but had an urgent appointment with a motorcycle tyre shop. Owch. At least the bike grips the road now!

Some very nice captures there Mike, I like the third one best too, a bit of advice about number 4 though.....this is NOT a good position to be in

The same thing went through my mind as I was pointing the camera upwards ... I must admit to being in 2 minds as to whether I should have been in that position

Many years ago I was riding to the "Bulldog Bash", a motorcycle rally near Stratford Upon Avon. One of our flying friends managed to get me smack on the glass of my motorcycle goggles, a perfect shot. The next year, same journey, same road, almost the same spot... SPLAT. Right on the goggles again. I swear that bird was lying in wait!
