Sequin,
Well, first thing - you get what you pay for
Having said that, you are best off getting a dedicated flash, and probably best getting a Pentax - the flash will put the ME Super to the right shutter speed automatically. Which gun you need also depends on your usage - the AF160 is a tiny pocket flash useful for just carrying around. There are lots of others

Phew! Hope that helps

 Second hand: http://www.mxv.co.uk - very helpful company. They have several flashes (35mm Manual Focus / Pentax) - AF200, AF260, AF160, AF280

 There are also Cobra flash guns that are dedicated to the Pentax
Phew! Hope that helps

Can anyone advise where I can purchase [cheaply] a flash unit for a Pentax ME Super camera? How much should I expect to pay
