Flash trigger problems

I have 2 wireless flash triggers, they both have fresh batteries and are set to the same channel as the transmitter.
When I press the shutter button on the camera both of them register the signal (they work).
When I press the test button on the transmitter both of them register the signal (they work).
When I use my wireless remote only one receiver works, the other does not get a signal from the transmitter.

Any ideas : it`s driving me nuts.

It sounds like it must be some kind of interference? Does the problem trigger work if it's the only trigger and you use the remote?

Sorted your interference idea was correct, finally got my brain working. The wireless remote was effecting the nearest flash receiver to it, despite being on different channels. Just have to move further away from the flashes. Cheers Tim, this has been bugging me for weeks.

The other option would be to use the remote with a 2 second delay.

Hey that looks like a great start! The colours are great, especially like the first one. A little work on that critical sharpness and there should be some stunning shots there

Cheers Tim.
The ones above are all early attempts. Took quite a while to master the focus, am using my 100mm Macro and getting the mix between dof and shutter speed took a fair bit of practice; Now getting more consistent the two flashes help a lot.
Hope to have a good series in the next week or so.

Dave,
It's a coincidence that I surfed to this forum subject and saw your images. I also have spent the past week photographing water droplets splashing, with similar results to yours, but I'm still working on it.

I would post some images, but need the directions of how to post them on this forum, can you assist?

Thanks allbend

Thanks Tim,
I did find these instructions after my post last evening, but still trying to get my (silver surfer) head round the method.

However I seem to be able to upload to the "weekly competition" direct from my hard drive without having to have the image on a web page.
Is that correct?

Sorry, this is probably getting rather off topic now!

Yes, the weekly competition (and your personal gallery) are hosted by the PUG website, posts to the various discussion lists have to be hosted externally and the image linked to.

OK Kris,
thanks for confirming.
Will have a go at putting my water droplet images on here to compare with Davex
