Can anyone recommend a cable to mount a flash off camera from my k20d. The official Pentax ones look pricey, are there any 3rd party ones that are any good?

What flashgun are you using? Some have sockets for flash cables, and some don't. The latter require you to buy another adapter.

I have some I would be willing to sell. If you are interested, drop me a PM.

I was going to use the old AF160 (not the ring flash) I have but that does not appear to be working (I can hear bits moving inside when I shake it!). So I need a flash now as well as a cable to use with it!

Sorry to drag up an old topic but my unbranded cable I got from SRS has stopped the p ttl fuction on my flash when I use it. This is the second one that has failed on me (SRS replaced the last one like for like) so Im looking for an affordable alternative cable. Any suggestions?

The AF160 can't use p-ttl right, isn't it an idea to buy a wireless receivers for it?

From the prices i see on this page they don't cost a lot more...
