Nothing wrong with borrowing a good idea Ken - sounds like fun to me!

Day One of Five
Just to get started I've decided to have a vague theme for my 5 in that they were all taken in my kitchen.

Pentax Q with 06 zoom at 45mm, 1/30 @ f4 and 400 ISO. A little refector that was an Amateur Photographer cover gift between the flowers and the window. Handeld I think.
Fire away with the C&C!

Nothing to criticise here Ken, it is a beautifully judged image, very impressive

Lovely colour. Good detail and impeccable exposure.
Best wishes,
Andrew

You're right Alan, it annoys me too

This sounds like a good idea. As for your first post Ken I would say it has good colour and lighting. Although I'm no expert at photographing flowers, it seems technically sound apart from the slight cropping mentioned by Alan.

I prefer this second shot, the composition is cleaner. Lovely lighting also.

For me, the best so far is No.2 (except the slightly tight crop), the composition is great and I don't mind the messy leaves in the corner.
This one is a lttle harsh(contrast)for my taste.
Lovely colours in all three though.
Great idea by the way, Ken
