This lens is all I ever use now K', and every shot I have taken since March 2010 has been taken with this lens. It is so sharp and beats any zoom lens into a cocked hat. This combined with some shoe-leather zooming gives great results.

Looks like my sort of lens (in my dreams!). Nice shots.
Best wishes,

Excellent set.

Have been thinking about buying the 21mm for a while now, you are making it harder to resist.

Nice set. I think if the focal length works for you, you can't go wrong with this little lens! There are sharper ones but the contrast and colour is really good.

IMHO the quality of these pics is due to the person taking the pictures, not especially the lens.

I wouldn't say no to owning the lens of course, but I couldn't restrict myself to one lens like PaulyR has done.

I was not too happy with roots. To me it has a film like appearance but that’s not the issue. I took the time to pic a focal point and I can't see that in the final result!

Overall, the lens is excellent and with the exception of my 100mm macro, it's the first time in a long time since I've been out without a zoom on the K7. What a refreshing difference. I'm seriously thinking of doing a trip without zooms on the K7 (Sept to Dec).

This lens is not mine; it's a gift for someone back in the UK. I'm sorely tempted to buy another as a keeper.

I can see your point Pauly. I would add that it's a worthwhile investment due to its capabilities.

Best regards.
