Trip out today was well worth it.
If only to see Puma demonstrating his new tripod and fag packet head;

I like that kind of innovation - until now I thought fag packets, empty or full, were useless - it appears that I was wrong

Great day at the fair today chaps and nice to meet up with you all, glad the rain stayed away and we were blessed with a bit of sun although the top of my head is a bit beetroot colored . Hope you all enjoyed the Ice cream shame there was no beer tent

Good capture Dave and nice of the chap to let Shaun have a play with his 645. Did anybody notice that all the c***n users there looked miserable sods?

Looks like you Pentax guys had as much fun at the steam fair as we do at Whitby for the Goths meet.

There was some talk of Whitby while we were there David, IIRC one of us went last year. Maybe another visit would be in order, although people photography is not my comfort zone TBH, I just thought I'd try something different on the day.

A really good show Howard and a good time had by all, the weather was spot on for a change so no wellies needed. Well worth a visit next year, although I have to say the show is not as big as the Southport event!.
