Phil, Helston here, excellent shots. Love the colour, composition and feel of no1. If I have to ask for one thing, it perhaps needs a tiny bit more light on the buzzer. What a good buy the 90mm was!

I think you got a very good price for a cracking lens. 2&3 are rather well timed but I like 1 best too for the lovely composition.

Thanks for the kind comments. I bought the lens "blind" over the phone so you can imagine how pleased I was when I opened the box to find a lens that looked like it had never been used.

I must say these are really quite excellent! For a first attempts they are more than that - brilliant even!!!
I think 2 and 3 could do with some fairly heavy cropping, but the important bits are fantastic. Well done

I recently picked up a mint Tamron SP 90mm F2.5 from LCE for only £69 - it was originally £89 but had a £20 refund because the extension tube was missing from the otherwise complete kit. By applying a slither of insulating tape to my PK Adaptall mount I am able to use it as a fully auto lens and use the Metz 36 in PTTL mode.

These are all hand held, full-frame with just a little sharpening to 2 & 3. I think I need to sort out a diffuser for the flash.
I'm not really sure why, but I quite like No.1
