Yep not perfect, this was the one with the least motion blur!

Good luck. Although this set up impresses I need to take some from a distance where with, say my 150-500, cropping would start to pixellate to get a reasonable size image. Then compare the quality of a cropped Q at that size to see which appears best.

They are surprisingly good Alan (I'm talking about the quality not my prowess here!) but am yet to convince myself that it is better than or as good as my Sigma 150-500mm cropped to same on a K-30 More testing required.. Of course the Q + 300 is a smaller lighter package but less flexible.

Shame you don't live nearer Alan - I've got a tin full of paint left! If you have to buy some I got the Wilkinson's own brand (do you have them up there?)"Wilko Matt Black". Water based for metal and gave an excellent smooth very matt finish for about £4 although I am sure there are others.

Sorry for delay - I just did it straight away after reading that it was important, being so easy to do. So I can't compare before and after but it is certainly very good with the DA* 300mm.

Latest attempt. Had to de-crop it and add some background as it was too tight to the frame. So this is uncropped with DA*300 and Q.
