First few shots with the DA 560mm, all taken at a good distance, sorry the subjects are nothing exceptional or unusual.
Hope you find them useful.
Only drawback today, trying to keep my good lady from using it.

First impressions Nuri, very pleased. Managed to walk further easily yesterday with camera, lens and tripod on my shoulder compared to FA 600mm. Focus is snappy, sharp wide open and colour rendition is good.

Looks good and things should improve considerably when the light
gets better.

Some early promise there... can't wait to see some of more favourable subjects in better light.

Just a few more shots from today, needless to say nothing much about again.

Full shot from about a mile away.

Hello tomkeet,

thanks for your first impressions.

I am also very much interested in a comparison of shots taken with the Pentax 560/5.6 and the FA* 600/4.

Please contact me, if you finally want to sell your FA* 600.

Regarding the cropped hut from the last shot: Is this visible purple fringing (@5.6)?

Regards,
froeschle

Can't say I'm impressed, I'd expect more from a £6000 lens

Must admit I thought the same. Hopefully we will see some better shots as time goes on.

Nothing there that makes me thing WOW!
