Only filters I ever use are:
ND Grad
Polariser
Everything else can be 'gradded' in Photoshop

So far only really used C Polarizer. But I now have a couple of ND grads to play with.

I have a polariser, an ND grad and two NDs.
I use the polariser, occasionally (when I remember :blush I use the ND grad, but I haven't used the NDs yet.
PSE provides the rest.

On digital it's just a polariser and ND grads, but I'll also be shooting some b&w film where I'm sure my yellow filter will get extensive useage

What’s your favourite combination of filters that really give you that extra edge on a image
Example gradual blue and gradual green together for landscapes
It can be colour or B&W
