With respect, I am surprised that a photo like this has been accepted. The colours are odd looking and it looks like there is an odd colour cast, and the lighting looks very flat.
Maybe the composition could have been improved with the arrangement of those trees on the horizon too.

Big congratulations on the milestone!
Looking through your PPG you have loads of really excellent shots. I can however see Pauly's point about this photo having a pinkish cast to it. Strangely the PPG version looks considerably less pink!

Thanks. Being colour blind isn't always a great help and it wouldn't be the first time I've got it wrong. I am moving more towards black and white
I'm under no illusion about the PPG, it's just a game really. I'm surprised about quite a few that have got in and I'm aware of some faults and areas where I can improve. But it's still a good game.

I owe a big thanks to fellow users of the site. I've learnt an awful lot from here since I took up photography properly last Autumn, from the discussion and critique threads and from analysing a lot of excellent images here and in the links provided in your signatures.
