Well done aliengrove and Dr O. Thanks for setting a great comp Glyn and taking the time to give your well considered judging comments, and of course for awarding me 3rd place I wouldn't have liked to have to sort these out.

Completely the right choices, in my view, Glyn. Super winner, aliengrove. I love it. But I enjoyed seeing them all.
Thanks also for the critique. I enjoyed my first foray into the competitions. The fortnightly assignments might be best for me for a while as I have only had a Pentax for a week. Not much of a back catalogue!

Gosh! Thanks for the first place, Glyn, and the in depth comments on all the entries. Congratulations to Dr Orloff and Sandanista for their great second and third places! Congrats to all the commendeds too. I especially liked Sandanista's clock. Great competition, and nice to see more entries than we've been seeing recently. I will get my thinking hat on and set the next comp forthwith!

I will tell the grandkids, Nana retired in 2011, got famous making frig magnets. Sold them by the dozens, before I knew it, I had sold millions of them all over the world! All my thanks went to a sweet humble judge from the UK..........

That was a tough one Glyn and you judged it magnificently. There was a lot of quality in the entries so top marks to Jon, Adrian and Sandanista for winning the podium places. Congrats too to the commendeds and to JudithAnn for a nice piece of lateral thinking.

Thanks for judging Glynn.
The ghostly figure in my entry was supposed to be there - Hence the title of a strange place. On my screen the figure is obvious and the tunnel is not too dark.
