You could just copy the images across to a folder on your computer.
I just make folders describing the set of images, usually from a single day's shoot, so the folder name might be "Haddon Hall 08 12 2015" - doing this does not require importing into anything. The files can be opened from this folder using Bridge or whatever program, perhaps Camera Raw if you are using Elements.

That is basically what I have done,
Still getting use to the mac.

Have not posted for a while, and this one is only photo related.
Does any one use a mac for photo editing,
I have elements and don't use organiser, in windows, i download to pictures
Then when I want to work on them, I open elements and import.
With mac I downloaded to photos, then opened elements and tried to import, nothing doing pop up stated photoshop could not open these files.
The files where raw, so mac must be stopping the import.
Can any one tell me what I I'm doing wrong,
Plus is there any where else you can download to apart from organiser that is.
Here`s hoping you can stop my hair from going any greyer .
