Aurora visible in northern UK this evening

There is a major storm right now (20.00 gmt) with aurora visible well into northern England.
Stop watching spoty and get outside if it is clear.

Clearish sky up here but I've just consumed 1/2bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon

Thanks you Andy, Gwyn and Mags. Much appreciated.

This is a 15 minute drive from home yesterday evening. Tried a few times to get Aurora from here but this is the first decent one I've managed. Nice to get it local. The only annoying thing is the illuminated lighthouse. Its no longer a working lighthouse and has colour changing floodlights on it all night. They used to switch the lights off after midnight, so I was back there at 5am this morning, only to find the lights still on, and the aurora not as vivid
