Surfing on ebay looking at sigma 105mm lens came across this seller fotoexpress-online.He has 100% feedback on 32 items,on closer examination this consists of 28 items with a value of £1.He is now selling very high value photo gear with some items in the £2000 price bracket.Feedback like this looks very suspect-buyer beware.

Does look a little odd but they all seem to have reasonably high feedback ratings themselves and it is not just a few new purchasers.

There is actually a phone number (and other direct contact details) for fotoexpress-online too ...

This practice (selling dozens of very cheap items to start out with) is actually very common for genuine starting-out ebay retailers to boost their feedback count. I don't think it necessarily means they are dodgy, but I'd still be careful.

How else does anybody acquire a good reputation on Ebay? They must want to sustain that status once they have acquired it...
But then again, £2,000 is a hell of a lot of money...

Talking about dodgy sellers I notice on this page an advert for Simply Electronics and I've read some fairly bad reports about them. They are selling the K7 for much less than anyone else. I couldn't find a UK address for them even though they say goods are shipped from the UK?
CHEERS Vic.
Born again biker with lots of Pentax bits. Every day I wake up is a good day. I'm so old I don't even buy green bananas.
