Serene, the only thing I dont like is the slash of red on the sheep.Baa.

It's funny, but without that sheep and his slash of red I think the pic would be so cliche. I think it adds a bit of humour. A bit like the Snowdon sunrise pic I posted below. Without the dark trees,which perhaps look out of place, as indeed they are, they don't belong here, the pic would be cliche. It's the red slash and dark trees that make the pics different for me.

Hi Brodie, sheep are marked for lots of reasons for ease of identification. The sheep could be pregnant, it could have been medicated, it might have been recently mated, or it might just be so the farmer can spot it from a distance if it strays or if he needs to find it. This type of paint can last for a few months. Ear marks and tattoos are also used to identify sheep and crayons can be used to identify ewes that have been serviced by a ram.
